Bay View Avenue Reconstruct Project

The Bay View Avenue Reconstruction Project kicks off the City of Petoskey’s 2024 construction season.  This project is tentatively set to begin April 1, 2024, depending on weather conditions.  Barricades and signage will be placed notifying motorists that the street is closed. Residents within construction limits will be notified as construction activities impact access.

For reference, the Bay View Avenue reconstruct includes water main replacement; new pavement and subgrades; new curb and gutter and new sidewalk.  City staff will communicate directly with affected residents as the project progresses throughout the spring and early summer. The expected completion date for this project is mid to late-June.
