Finance/Treasury
The Department of Finance is responsible for the City's administrative and financial reporting. It provides all City departments and offices with centralized budgeting, accounting, treasury, debt-management, purchasing, billing, collections, payroll and fringe benefits, insurance, personnel, and data-processing services. The Department oversees the 14 funds that currently make up the City's annual budget. For the year 2020, the budget includes approved expenditures of $32,788,300, with $28,269,800 in operating costs and $4,418,500 for construction projects and major purchases, all which were to be offset by $29,788,800 in anticipated revenues from a variety of sources and from cash reserves.
