Magnus Park will open for the 2024 season on Monday, May 6th.

The reservation system for Magnus Park will be open for
2024 reservations based on the following schedule
:

90 days or more - January 3, 2024 at 8am
30 days or more - January 4, 2024 at 8am
Any length of stay less than 30 days - January 5, 2024 at 8am

Reservation requests can be made using the reservation system below.  If you call for a reservation you will likely be put into voicemail and your call will be returned in the order it was received.  It may take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours for a return call.

Note:  Sewer drop station for non-campers = $5.00 each time

Cancellation Policy:  Any cancellation one or more days prior to your reservation will incur a 20% cancellation fee.   Cancellations made on the day of arrival or later will be charged the full rate for the first night’s fee, reservation fee and the cost of any nights that have already passed.  Any remaining unused nights are eligible for a refund less 20%.

Check-in time is 3:00 P.M. on date of arrival and check-out time is 1:00 P.M. on date of departure.

Description:
Magnus Park Campground provides 76-sites for tents, towable recreational vehicles, and motor homes. The campground rests at the end of West Lake Street along the shores of Little Traverse Bay. Campers staying at Magnus Park have easy access to Bayfront Park, Little Traverse Wheelway, Northern Michigan Regional Hospital, and Downtown Petoskey.

logo_NCT_TrailTown_colorMagnus Park provides camping facilities as well as day-use amenities along the shores of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay. The park has 1,000 feet of shoreline and is equipped with access roads, utilities, a wooded area, and scenic views of Little Traverse Bay. Free wireless internet is available throughout the campground.

The City of Petoskey is entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the North Country Trail Association establishing Petoskey as a "Trail Town" of the North Country Trail. For more information, please visit www.northcountrytrail.org. The North Country Trail route through Petoskey includes the NCMC Natural Area, the Bear River Valley Recreation Area, and a section of the Little Traverse Wheelway. Magnus Park has easy access to these locations and makes a great base camp to explore the trail.
