Hydrant Flushing Ongoing
Department of Public Works crews began fire hydrant flushing April 17 and maintenance procedures at various locations throughout the City. Flushing is ongoing and will be accomplished only during daylight hours. Please look for posted signs for hydrant flushing in your area. Customers might experience discolored water as a result of hydrant-flushing operations. Prior to using hot water, cold water faucets should be opened to allow water to run freely for several minutes until becoming clear.
