Leaf Pick-Up

The City will be performing their annual leaf pickup on the following dates:

WARD 1 – Thursday, November 1, 2018
WARD 2 – Monday, November 5, 2018
WARD 3 – Wednesday, November 7, 2018
WARD 4 – Friday, November 9, 2018

Leaves should be placed PRIOR to the scheduled pickup date in your ward. Loose leaves should be piled in the gutter on streets with curbs and gutters or on the shoulder of streets without curbs.  Leaves bagged in biodegradable bags only should be placed behind the curb on the green lawn. The pickup of brush is performed by a different crew, following a different schedule. Brush must be piled separately from leaves. Please do not pile anything on top of the leaves.

The leaf pickup crew will only pick up from the street once. Leaves placed out after the crew has passed may not be picked up. The City will be composting all leaves being picked up. The removal of non-compostable items such as plastics, cement, and stone will help minimize composting costs.
