City of Petoskey

In addition to the numerous park and recreation facilities that are maintained by the City of Petoskey, the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation also sponsors organized programs that serve a variety of ages and interests. During the 2006 calendar year, the City sponsored 32 recreational programs that served 3,153 participants. Therefore, a significant number of Petoskey-area residents enjoyed the City’s recreational-program offerings. In addition to programs that specifically are organized by Department of Parks and Recreation, Department staff members also partnered with a number of other organizations to provide facilities and support services for various leagues and associations. Finally, Department staff members work closely with Public Schools of Petoskey officials to assist with School-sponsored sports activities.

All SIGN-UPS are held at City Hall, 101 East Lake Street Petoskey, Michigan 49770. In 2010, staff will be adding online registration as an option for most Recreation Programming.
