Public Safety Lieutenant Keiser to Retire
Public Safety Lieutenant Douglas Keiser announced his retirement from City services effective August 1, 2010, after more than 26 years. He jointed the City staff as a full-time Police Officer in 1984, and when the City's combined-service Department of Public Safety was established in 1988, became certified as a law-enforcement officer and maintained State-issued certifications in three disciplines - law enforcement, firefighting, and emergency-medical techniques. Lieutenant Keiser was promoted to his current position of Lieutenant in 1991.
