Department of Public Safety Office Assistant
The City of Petoskey now has an opening for a full-time Office Assistant. This position primarily is responsible for staff support to the Department of Public Safety however, assistance to other departments and a multiple-line telephone system is required.
Minimum qualifications include: (1) Graduation from high school or equivalent certified program; (2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and telephone manner; (3) Proven ability to interact positively with the public on a daily basis; (4) Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other software; and (5) A self-starter able to follow written and verbal instruction. Preferred experience with Records Management System (RMS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Michigan Incident Crime Reporting (MICR).
